The total duration of the course is 2 years which is split into 4 semesters. The program aims to provide students with a complete understanding of fire dynamics, safety management systems, emergency response planning and more. 

The program includes the study of concepts such as fire safety regulations, fire investigation, safety management, risk assessments, emergency planning and more. MIU has designed the curriculum of the university with a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application through case studies, simulation, and hands-on training. 

To be eligible for M.Sc. in Fire and Safety students must have minimum qualification of Bachelor in Science in the same or relevant discipline. The courses offered in full time mode of education. After completing the degree graduates can pursue their career in HSE Manager, Fire Safety Manager, Safety Consultant, Risk Assessment Specialist, Emergency Response Manager and more.
