Program Overview

M.Sc. in Chemistry is a two years postgraduate course. This degree is designed to provide advanced knowledge in chemical science. The course focuses on deep understanding or organic, inorganic and analytical chemistry. It helps students explore how chemical processes are used in industries, research, pharmaceutical and environmental applications.

The curriculum of the M.Sc. chemistry at MIU is divided into four semesters. In the initial semesters students study core concepts such as physical chemistry, organic reaction, inorganic chemistry and more. In later semesters students focus on Spectroscopy, Computational Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Green Chemistry and Research Methodology. The basic eligibility required for M.Sc. Chemistry is bachelors degree is chemistry or related science discipline.
